Turningpointmagazine is for everyone who has experienced “turning points” in their business or personal life, and have decided to learn from them, celebrate them, and move forward positively.
Having faced several minor and at least one major turning point of my own, I can speak from experience that usually these experiences result in positive changes. How many times has the result of your hard work resulted in an outcome far removed from what you intended? How many times have you cried out, “why?” only to later discover that the topic of your anguished question was the best thing that ever happened to you?
Whether you have been downsized, outsized or resized in your business, whether you realize your finances will prevent you from retiring with dignity…. or if you have faced significant changes in your personal life, it is important to realize that your turning points are the necessary experiences that can lead to greater fulfillment and open your eyes to different thinking patterns and habits.
Not all turning points are negative. Many are glorious unexpected windfalls. You receive an unexpected raise, new business drops into your lap, you meet the love of your life. Someone gifts you with an unexpected kindness. These too are important turning points.
